We would love to include bodyweight exercises as part of Strength Score, but there are unfortunately some pretty significant challenges to doing this.

With weighted exercises, we are able to assess absolute strength pretty accurately, using an estimated 1 rep max, which serves as a basis for the other math that follows to calculate your muscle group scores. With bodyweight exercises, we can't really use 1 rep max to assess absolute strength, since weight is a necessary input for this.

While it might seem like we could just do this based on reps alone, this unfortunately doesn't really hold up very accurately. At a certain point, being able to do more reps of an exercise is a better measure of one's endurance, and serves as a poor proxy for absolute strength.

This is something that we're continuing to think about, though, and we do currently factor in bodyweight exercises that lend themselves to adding additional weight, such as pull-ups and dips.
